Municipalities across the North West Province successfully submitted their Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and Annual Performance Reports (APR) to the Auditor-General South Africa (AGSA) and Provincial Treasury on 31 August 2026 .
Representing Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality at the Annual Financial Statements Handover Ceremony held at Sun City , the Acting Mayor, Cllr Thukulala Motaung , together with the Acting Municipal Manager, Mr Andrew Pholose , and the Acting Chief Financial Officer, Mrs Tebogo Mogapi , formally submitted the Municipality’s AFS and APR to the Auditor-General and Provincial Treasury.
The submission marks an important milestone in the Municipality’s ongoing commitment to good governance, financial accountability, transparency and improved municipal performance .
