As we commemorate Arbor Day, the Mbhashe Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Dr Samkelo Janda, will join in on the tree planting campaign at Timane A/A in Dutywa under the theme “My Tree, My Oxygen. Plant Yours Today.”
The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of trees, particularly indigenous and fruit trees and their role in environmental conservation, sustainable development and community livelihoods.
