ROAD REHABILITATION UNDERWAY IN BRAKPAN, SPRINGS, AND TSAKANI

1 min read17 views

The City has intensified its road rehabilitation programme in Brakpan, Springs, and Tsakane, with teams from the Department of Roads and Transport working to patch potholes and improve road safety.

The initiative also includes repainting road markings and cleaning stormwater drainage systems, which have been identified as critical to reducing flooding and ensuring smoother traffic flow.

The rehabilitation drive forms part of the City’s Fixing the Frontline campaign, aimed at accelerating service delivery and ensuring residents benefit from quality infrastructure. The programme is designed to address long-standing maintenance backlogs and restore municipal services.

The City urges the community to exercise patience during these projects as work continues until all priority roads are rehabilitated.
