Road resurfacing and maintenance work at various locations across the Blaauwberg District
The City of Cape Town's Urban Mobility Directorate will undertake road resurfacing and maintenance work at various locations across the Blaauwberg District from 13 October until 11 December 2026.
'This work forms part of the City's ongoing road maintenance programme and will include road resurfacing, footway repairs, regravelling, verge maintenance and repairs to our existing road infrastructure. The teams will be busy from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 15:30, except in the Century City area where we have arranged for night work between 19:30 and 05:00 to minimise disruption to traffic during the day. We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation while we complete this essential maintenance work across the Blaauwberg District, all part of how we keep Cape Town moving,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
