The uMshwathi Local Municipality, led by Hon Mayor Cllr Mandla Zondi officially introduced the appointed service provider to the local community ahead of the commencement of the Albert Falls Picnic Site on Thokozani Road Phase 1 projects.The introduction formed part of the official sod-turning ceremony, marking the beginning of construction works. The purpose of the engagement was to introduce the contractor to the community, outline the scope of the projects, explain implementation processes, and encourage cooperation throughout the construction period.
The projects are expected to improve road infrastructure, enhance access to key community facilities, and create temporary employment and local economic opportunities in line with the Municipality’s commitment to improving service delivery.
The Municipality thanked community members for their attendance and urged everyone to support the successful implementation of the projects for the benefit of community members.
