UMshwathi Local Municipality hosted a Disaster Management Forum which is made up of different and relevant stakeholders.
However, the meeting had to be differed given the unavailability of many stakeholders but will reconvene after the majority of relevant stakeholders confirm their availability.
UMshwathi Local Municipality remains committed in mobilising and coordinating all relevant stakeholders to ensure that we are proactive in regards to containing potential disasters as a result of – amongst other factors – climate change.
