KSD Organisational Structure Reviewed to Meet Service Delivery Priorities

On Thursday, 3 September 2026, King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality convened an Organisational Structure Review Workshop at Nkululekweni Council Chambers, aimed at strengthening the Municipality’s capacity to effectively respond to community needs and service-delivery priorities.

In his welcoming remarks, Executive Mayor Cllr. M.S. Dudumayo emphasised that the review should go beyond compliance and focus on building a practical, affordable and service-centred organisational structure aligned with the IDP and Municipal priorities.

He highlighted the importance of clear roles, effective governance and the filling of critical vacancies to enhance institutional performance and accountability.

The Executive Mayor urged all stakeholders to participate constructively in the process to ensure that the final structure supports a more responsive and effective Municipality.

KSD Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening institutional capacity, improving accountability and ensuring that its organisational structure is fit for purpose and centred on delivering quality services to communities.
