Today, Thursday, 02 July 2026, marks an important milestone for Metsimaholo Municipality as our By-Laws Officers proudly received their brand-new uniforms. More than simply a new appearance, these uniforms represent professionalism, discipline, unity, and a renewed commitment to serving every resident with integrity, fairness, and respect.
Acting Manager for Public Safety, Mr. Bongi Mpembe, together with Superintendent Ms. Carly Ramaele, joined the officers in celebrating this proud occasion, recognising the important role they play in keeping our municipality safe, clean, and orderly. Every day, our By-Laws Officers are on the front line, tackling illegal dumping, protecting the environment, enforcing municipal by-laws, safeguarding public infrastructure, responding to residents’ concerns, and working closely with law enforcement partners to strengthen public safety. They also play a vital role in educating communities about responsible practices that contribute to a healthier and more sustainable municipality.
These new uniforms are more than a symbol of pride, they reflect the Municipality’s continued investment in service excellence and its commitment to equipping officers with the tools they need to perform their duties confidently and professionally. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Municipality’s leadership for supporting this initiative and empowering our officers to continue serving with dedication and accountability.
Building a safer, cleaner, and more vibrant Metsimaholo is a shared responsibility. If you witness illegal dumping or any by-law violation, report it to our By-Laws Unit. Together, we can protect our communities and create a municipality we can all be proud to call home.
